AlluRRRing Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Honey and Almonds

All the softness of brie cheese, wrapped up in deliciousness of filo pastry, with a touch of flavoRRR from the honey and almonds. Meow-nificent!

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • ⅓ cup of sliced almonds
  • 1 sheet of filo pastry
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Lay the filo pastry carefully on your table, then place the wheel of brie in the center.

Add the honey and almonds, then fold the pastry in from the sides, brushing with beaten egg mixture (egg + water) after each fold.

Bake at 200°C/390ºF for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, add a little extra honey and almonds and bake for a further 5 minutes. Delicious!
